Clan tag requirements!

Clan tag requirements!

by zerg960 » Tue Nov 01, 2011 10:48 pm

Well, we want clan tags back..

To start off:

Should require a motive? (Yes/no?)

How many members (Rsd+) total before talking to me to make the group?
I like 4. 8 is good too. 10 or more is too much. 16 and no groups'll be made.

Suffix maximum length?
5 characters, or 4 letters and 1 punctuation?

Suffix capitalization?
Maximum 1 capital letter if there's 4 letters, or 3 if there's less than 3 letters and no punctuation..

Suffix color?
I'm gonna pick light yellow. But other colors would work too.

No motive.

About 6 members maybe?

I would say 5 letters for Suffix and yellow sounds good to me.

I think capitalization should be just 1 capital letter if they have like 5 letters
other than that I think if they have 3 or less they should be able to all be capitalized

Yes to a motive, if not there will be a massive amount of useless groups.
I am purely just me, but in the end we all go into the same box

Yes to a motive. Reasoning: IT shows your true intentions for a clan even if its just a simple "i have a group of friends who i build with all the time, and want to become a clan". Some reasoning behind the clan keeps the system a lot more organized.

Should definitely be res+ and how about a happy medium (6?)

5 characters is good i dont like punctuations though, it looks akward. [BOSS!] <---- it just looks weird to me, but thats just my opinion. What about max. 2 symbols and we could come up with a list of symbols that would be suitable for the tag?

As for capitalization, that sounds pretty much fair.

And PURPLE! lawl

Motive: yes they should defiantly have one
# of members: Im actually going to say 4 and this is because sometime you might want to have a company with just a close knit group of friends and this i think fits this situation plus others better then 6 people would but if we do go higher i would say go no higher then 6 or then it becomes a crowd not a group :P.

Everything else i completely agree with :).

^I agree with dakotah :D^ Maybe even could change the 4 to 3 :P or you could apply to do less or something :P and yeah 5 characters.

A motive shouldn't be a requirement.

I don't think they should have a motive, and 8 rsds+ minimum. :>

5 Char.

I choose yellow too! :D

i don't see why a clan needs a reason to exist.
