The effectiveness of archiving

So it seems we have a fourth option.. Archive old groups and towns only, so people don't get confused about what is active.

I set a temporary archive up before seeing this Oo sorry. I won't move more till this is decided but overall I think keeping an archive for a set time like 60/90 days and then letting that get pruned off sounds like a better idea to me.
For me though archiving stuff is fast and simple.

I prefer locking inactive threads and letting them sink to the bottom... for the reasons hovr stated above :3

Really whatever is easier for the mods, may i suggest more forum mods though? :3
