I agree with what Matchuu said, but will this be linked with what Zerg wanted regarding the warnings being removed ingame? I mean, if one should be pardoned ingame; they should be pardoned on the forums...

If we are not going to archive threads (This will significantly reduce workload for forum mods) then we should have a "No Necro'ing" rule.. :3

We could class a Necro as posting in a thread which hasn't been active for over a month (Obviously this would be judged on a case to case basis, and some exceptions could be made.)

Breaking this rule would be punished with an official warning, 3 warnings for this, and you start getting temp bans.

If necro'ing becomes a problem, (2 or more users do it a week), can we just lock all the topics older than a month?

I think we have the rules figured out. So i like mattchuu's idea for the banning situation and i also agree with kenny about the locking your own thread if thats possible.

I reported other peoples but never mine since i don't think i had any that needed archived haha :P

But you do have an point there but what would be the problem with just adding the option because maybe some people will actually use it (even if its only a few) thus lowering the work load on the mods.

Re: Forum rules discussio. Colors!

by heisan213 » Wed Nov 02, 2011 8:56 am

Oh, one important thing, COLORS!
It would be annoying if people were talking like this all over the forums
So I suggest red as a color when a mod+ edits a post and types in a warning or locks and moves a thread. So basically, no extreme-hard-to-read-colors.

Any suggestions?
