New Donor but Disappointed with other Donors

by Netmaster22 » Thu Feb 27, 2014 2:52 am

Hello all,

I am a new donor but i am already starting to reconsider staying.

When I logged in as a donor for the first time I was greeted with who the *(&^ are you along with some other derogatory things. vI was then called a "noob" and told to leave. Really? Do these Donors support the server so much they chase other donors away?

I thought this was a good server based on previous encounters I had with fellow players, so I decided to support it. But with attitudes like I what I experienced when I first logged in as a donor I am not sure how long I will last.

Donors enjoy the fact that they can be vulgar in the channel. Many times its more along the lines of who are you? Except they enjoy adding swears in. Donor chat can be a very vulgar thing just remember that you have the ability to use /lch d (or /ch d to enter back into it).

One more note, many donors are not used to new players donating right when they join. (less than 10-30 hours.)
Just either ignore them or ask for help when needed.

At any point, welcome to the server. I hope you enjoy your stay.

Don't pay attention to bean...

And people are surprised when the see someone log in as a donor that they have never seen online before. :/

I also noticed you aren't donor anymore, this is NOT because we didn't want you in there, auto donations are being buggy right now and this happens to almost everybody that donates :<

Yes, ignore Bean. He can get like that sometimes.
Also, people invite in newer players when they join in on Teamspeak! :3
ts.kreatious.net is the teamspeak IP, if you wish to join in.

Also, not just beanman. Lots of donors are trolls, and mess around a lot. Just know that they usually don't mean it!

Hope you have fun and consider again donating in the future! :D

I wasn't online, but I can tell you that you need to take a joke...Donor chat is for people who donate to enjoy swearing and bagging out others, it's all in fun, it always has been and always will. Take a joke.

I'm sorry to hear about your experience, but my compadres are right. Donor chat is the one place where rules almost have no effect. People can do whatever they like in Donor, and they love it so much, they never fail to swear at unknown newcomers. Anywho, welcome to the server, and I hope you reconsider your thoughts on departure! :D

*Didn't notice this was a while ago, but whatevs

Yea, we have a lot of donors who are usually jerks or tryhards. Swearing isn't rare in donor, you get use to it. Anyway, better luck next time! Sorry to hear that too.
